About Dutchess Pioneer
My Journey
At over 50 years old, my life reached a crossroads. I spent the majority of my career commuting to New York City to advance my IT profession, primarily with law firms and private equity. The cost of raising a family in Westchester was astronomical. The children had grown, and I was weary of commuting. After much deliberation, I sold the house and accepted a fully remote IT position We constructed a new home in Poughquag, New York. This move marked the beginning of our adventure. We are now surrounded by a large horse farm in the countryside. Green Acres, we are there!
